Amethyst Mist | Heuchera

Heuchera ‘Amethyst Myst’ is highly tolerant of heat and humidity. The glossy plum-burgundy leaves are accentuated with a silvery-blue overlay and elaborate black veining. This cultivar is named for the light silver dusting that gives it a radiant appearance. All leaves feature deep, royal purple undersides. In late spring to early summer, slender stems rise up to 26 in. (65 cm) above the evergreen foliage, bearing panicles of small, pink, bell-shaped flowers. It is a superb addition to rock gardens, perennial borders, and as edging along paths or in containers. This clump-forming perennial grows in basal mounds up to 8 in. tall (20 cm) with a spread of 16 in. (40 cm). It is a strong performer, easy to maintain, and unbothered by pests and diseases. Thrives in part shade and in rich, humusy, well-drained soil with medium moisture
